Iphone users of vodafone india, now can easily set their Edge/GPRS Settings by using the Apple's IPhone Configuration Utility, which helps the users to set their Preferences, Here below is the steps for Vodafone users of India to set the same by using IPhone Configuration Utility.

Iphone APN Settings for Vodafone India by iPhone Configuration Utility:

To setup the APN settings, download a software which is known for setting the APN Settings of IPhone called IPhone Configuration Utility.

Install the IPhone Configuration Utility on system.

Launch the IPhone Configuration Utility and then, connect the Iphone 3G/3GS to the System.

Now the IPhone Configuration Utility will show the iPhone in the list.

Click on Configuration Profiles

Click New button to create a new profile.

Now IPhone Configuration Utility will open a new profile

Select from Options > Advanced, > Configure

On the Following Screen enter the Access Point Name - APN

Vodafone India users it is “portalnmms”.

Now enter Proxy Server : For Vodafone India it is 10.10.1.100.

And then Enter the Proxy Port : For Vodafone India it is 9401.

Go to the General options, Put a Name and then Save it.

Now IPhone Configuration Utility showes the profile which we saved above.

On the IPhone Configuration Utility , Click on your device on the left hand side and choose Configuration Profiles tab.

Follwing that Click on the Install button in the list, Now IPhone Configuration Utility will ask for the same profile which we saved above .

Allow the IPhone Configuration Utility , it will automatically do the relist

Settings -> General -> Profile

Once Done, Disconnect the IPhone Configuration Utility services of your Iphone by Removing it, and Re-start your iphone.
